Textured Calf Starter Rations Feed-Rite’s textured 20% and 18% calf starters are formulated with a combination of steam-rolled oats and/or corn to guarantee highly digestible sources of energy and fiber for young calves. Our calf starters are designed to gt young calves onto dry feed to accelerate rumen development and enhance rumen function. Our starters economically increase growth rates during the milk replacer phase and post weaning development. Textured & Pelleted Calf Grower Rations The Calf to Cow textured and pelleted 16% dairy grower feeds are formulated with all-natural proteins, and highly digestible sources of energy and fiber. These calf grower formulas are designed to put on lean tissue growth on dairy calves )3-9 months of age) and achieve good body condition. Also available in protein supplement formulas to be mixed with homegrown grains for farm mixed rations. Pelleted Close-Up Dry Cow Rations The Calf to Cow Feeding Program offers two types of close-up dry cow feeds to prepare the pre-calving heifer on mature cow for successful calving, enhance feed intake and subsequent milk production. The first Close-Up feed contains a blend of grains and high mineral and vitamin levels. The second Close-Up feed contains a highly digestible fiber source to ensure a healthy rumen environment. Both feeds are available with anionic salts to combat potassium in forage, a cause of milk fever in calving. Milk Replacers Feed-Rite’s easy-mixing Big Mama line of milk replacers are of premium quality, designed optimize health and good growth in the young calf, from the colostrum-feeding phase to the weaning stage.
